This Privacy Policy explains what information SmartFundsLoan collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Information you submit on the form: name, contact details (email, phone, address), date of birth, income and employment details, and — where a lender requires it to consider a loan — Social Security number, driver's licence number, and bank account details.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and the approximate time you spent completing the form.
- Cookies and pixels: we and our advertising partners (including Meta) use cookies and similar technologies to measure ads and site performance. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
2. How we use it
- To share your loan request with lenders and lending networks so they can decide whether to offer you a loan — this is the core purpose of the Site.
- To verify submissions, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep records of consent.
- To measure and improve the Site and our advertising.
- To comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
3. Who we share it with
- Lenders and lending networks in our marketplace, who may further share it within their own networks to find you an offer. We are compensated by these partners.
- Service providers that host our systems and store data on our behalf.
- Compliance partners that document consent (e.g. TrustedForm / Jornaya certificates).
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties for purposes other than connecting you with a loan offer. If you do not want your information shared, do not submit the form, or ask us to suppress it — see below.
4. How it is protected
Form data is transmitted over HTTPS. Sensitive fields (such as SSN and bank details) are encrypted at rest in our systems and decrypted only at the moment they are delivered to a lender considering your request. Access to lead data is restricted and logged.
5. How long we keep it
We keep loan-request records only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal record-keeping obligations for consent documentation, then delete or anonymise them.
6. Your choices and rights
- Opt out of sharing/selling: use the Do Not Sell My Info page. We will suppress your email and phone number from future distribution.
- Stop calls and texts: reply STOP to any SMS, or tell any caller to place you on their do-not-call list; you may also use the opt-out page above.
- Access, correction, deletion: residents of California and other states with privacy laws may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information via the contact page. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time your state's law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7. Children
The Site is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
